To enable 3D
View, please click on the 3D
button next to the Settings
button in the top left corner of the screen in h2x. 3D
view is primarily for reviewing your design such as Pipe
/ Duct
Heights
, positioning of Equipment
and generally how the system is designed.
Level Visibility
Current: Shows the current

you are working on.
All: Here you may select if you would like to display all

or a particularLevel
.
Visibility Controls
System Visibility: Here you may disable or enable a particular
Workflow
(Heating & Cooling
,Ventilation
,Water & Fire & Gas
,Drainage
).
Flow Arrows: Can enable or disable them
Animated: Shows the direction and the
Velocity
depending on theFlow Rate
.Static: Only shows the direction.
Walls: Can enable or disable them
Flat: Shows the full area of the
Wall
& can control how visible (Opacity
) it is via the slider.Outline: Only shows the outline of the
Wall
& can control how visible (Opacity
) it is via the slider.
Doors/Windows: Can enable or disable them & can control how visible they are via the slider.
PDF Underlay: Can enable or disable the
PDF
in the3D
view & can control it's visibility (Opacity
) andBrightness
via the sliders.
Controls
If you select a particular Pipe
/ Duct
, Wall
or an Equipment
piece in the Design
mode, it will take you to that Pipe
/ Duct
or Equipment
in the 3D
view. If you select something in the 3D
view, it will take you to that object in the Design
mode.
Left click / Mouse wheel click drag to orbit.
Right click drag to pan.
Scroll to zoom in / out.
Click objects to view / edit in 2D mode.
Views
Orthographic: Maintains true proportions and measurements without distortion, showing objects from fixed viewpoints (front, side, top) with parallel lines staying parallel.
Perspective: Creates realistic 3D depth by making distant objects appear smaller and converging parallel lines toward vanishing points, mimicking natural human vision.
You may also select the cube & spin around the reference point in the 3D
view (depends on what you have selected or if you have panned around.
