Risers are vertical pipes used to connect different Levels of a system.
How It Works
Select Riser from Toolbar:
Choose the
Risertool from the toolbar. It will follow your cursor.Placement:
On an Existing Pipe:
Left-clickdirectly on aPipeof the same System to auto-connect.On Blank Canvas:

Once placed, the
Riserwill dynamically adjust to connect toPipeson the specifiedLevels.Pipesconnected to theRiserwill inherit theRiserheight and system settings for that level.
Riser Properties
Name: Specify a unique identifier for the
Riser.Flow System: Select the type of fluid system (e.g.,
Hot Water).Top and Bottom Floors:
Top Floor: The highest level the
Riserwill appear on. It will not extend to levels above this.Bottom Floor: The lowest level the

Settings, but can be overridden.Max. Velocity: The maximum allowable velocity for fluid flow. Can be overridden from the default.
Max. Pressure Drop: The maximum allowable pressure drop per unit length of the riser. Can be overridden from the default.
Troubleshooting Risers
Connection Issues: Verify that the
Riseris properly connected to pipes at each level.Top and Bottom Floor Settings: Confirm that the
RiserTop FloorandBottom Floorare correctly defined to avoid missing connections or riser visibility.Overrides: If calculation issues arise, review overridden values for
