Select Correct System View for Design

To design your system, it’s important to ensure you’re in the correct system view.

Each system has its own design mode and toolbar, so selecting the appropriate view is essential.

How to Select the Correct System View

Step-by-step
  1. System Categories:

Depending on your project Workflows and Settings, you may have up to four system categories available:

    - Water/Fire/Gas

    - Heating/Cooling

    - Drainage

    - Ventilation

  2. Switch Between Systems:

Use the drop-down menu next to each category to select the specific system you want to work on.

    For example:

Under Water/Fire/Gas, you will find options like water, gas, or fire.

Under Heating/Cooling, you will find options like underfloor heating, heating, and chilled.

  3. Adjust Workflows in Settings:

If the system you want is not listed, go to Settings > Workflows and enable the desired system.

  4. Hide and Show Systems:

Use the Eye symbol next to each system category to Hide or Show components of that system.

Hiding a system will make your drawing cleaner.

Why Different System Views Matter

Separation for Clarity:

Each system is separated to ensure that exports are clean and don’t overlap, keeping drawings organized and easy to read.

Greyed-Out Components:

Components from other systems appear greyed out in the background to help you coordinate your design.

These greyed-out elements are locked and cannot be edited unless you switch to their corresponding system view.

Troubleshooting View Issues

If you can’t find the system you want, go to Settings > Workflows and ensure it is enabled.

If you’re trying to select greyed-out components, switch to the corresponding system view to edit them.

By ensuring you’re in the correct system view and understanding how to manage system visibility, you can keep your design organized and avoid confusion.
