On-Site Survey (Using magicplan)

Download magicplan:

Install magicplan and ensure you have a Report subscription plan.

Measure the Rooms:

Use LiDAR (requires compatible devices like iPhone Pro or iPad Pro) or manual scanning.

Complete the room scan on a room-by-room basis, setting the room type in magicplan.

[Optional] Add Objects:

Add fireplaces, radiators, windows, doors, heat pumps, and water heaters in magicplan.

These items will link to h2x to inform heat load calculations and design requirements.

Add Notes:

For Radiators, include the radiator type (e.g., Type 11, Type 22) in the object notes for accurate mapping during import.

For Vaulted Ceilings, add a note in the room, as vaulted ceilings must be added manually in h2x as a level above.

Align Levels:

Add the X marker to a common point across levels in magicplan.

This marker will automatically align the levels during import.
