Fixtures
Fixtures, such as taps, faucets, showers, and sinks, are endpoints in your system design.
They represent the demand for water or drainage in the system and are essential for defining the overall load and flow requirements.
How to Add Fixtures
Select a Fixture:
Use the drop-down menu in the toolbar to select the desired
Fixture
type.Placement:
Rotate the fixture using the
Arrow
keys before placing it.Left-click
on the floor plan to place the fixture.Press
Escape
to exit the placement tool.Connection Indicators:
After placing the fixture, colored connections appear, indicating the systems that need to connect, such as:
- Blue: Cold water
- Red: Hot water
- Orange: Warm water
Auto-Connect:
Hold
Ctrl
and select multipleFixtures
to enable theAuto-Connect
pop up and tool. This will run pipes in the most direct route to connect the selected fixtures.
It works best when there are direct and straight paths for the pipes to take between the fixtures
Moving and Adjusting Fixtures:

and dragged to new positions after placement.
If connecting a non-standard system to a Fixture
(e.g., Rainwater
), enable Allow Other Systems to Connect

Continuous Flow: Add a
Continuous Flow Rate
if required, which contributes to the peak flow rate calculation.Loading Units: Modify the

do not suit your design.Fixture Units: Modify the

Fixture
. If the pressure falls below the minimum or exceeds the maximum, aWarning

Troubleshooting Fixtures
Connection Issues: Ensure
Pipes
are properly connected to the colored connection points. Semi-transparent pipes and pipes with red circles indicate they are not fully connected.Warnings: Check for
